The Memphrémagog region is defined by two prominent mountain axes that give the territory its unique topography. The first, running north to south, is part of the majestic Appalachian range. It rises across the western portion of the region, with a series of impressive peaks, including Mount Orford, Owl’s Head, Foster, Chagnon, and more.

The second, known as the Bunker Axis, also crosses the region and naturally divides two major watersheds: Lake Memphrémagog and Lake Massawippi. This distinctive geography enhances both the ecological richness and the breathtaking scenery of the area.

Magog-Orford

Magog-Orford is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the area. You’ll be captivated by the breathtaking view of Lake Memphrémagog stretching over 40 km, with the majestic peaks of Mount Orford and Mount Owl’s Head in the background—perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.

Massawippi Valley

Bordered by the tranquil waters of Lake Massawippi, this valley was once home to wealthy American families who built magnificent villas in the 19th century. Border Region

Situated on the border between Québec and Vermont, the Border Region is rich in history, with architectural landmarks reflecting American colonial influence. Missisquoi Valley
