Founded in 1960 by actress Marjolaine Hébert, La Marjolaine is the oldest summer theatre still in operation in Québec. Housed in a beautifully restored 1889 barn, it welcomes nearly 300 guests per performance. If you’re lucky enough to meet the owner, he’ll be delighted to share a few anecdotes about this legendary venue. For the perfect evening, arrive as early as 4:30 p.m. and make the most of the experience—enjoy drinks, dinner, a captivating show, and a lively post-theatre singalong. La Marjolaine: where summer comes to life on stage!
