Very, very charming! We stayed at the Hobbit cottage for two nights with our kids and loved it. Quiet and secluded from the hustle of the city. Cottages are clean and well appointed, but no electricity The designs are clever and comfy. The treasure hunt is a good way to explore the lands around the site. The labyrinth is surprisingly challenging, BTW. Book well in advance, because the cottages are filled up, particularly on the weekends. Friendly owners!

Lovely getaway! We stayed in Lescale a Deux and it was like a cozy treehouse. It stayed nice and warm with the wood burning stove and candlelight. Bring sheets & comforter (unless you want to rent them for 10 CAD), towels, and shower supplies.

What a fabulous experience! You absolutely must visit the Hobbit House. This off grid experience is amazing, the staff are fabulous, and the walking trails are very rustic. The entire area is peaceful and quiet. Just as it should be.

The camps there are pretty and original on the outside, but hot, stuffy, uncomfortable, smelly, and filthy inside. And yet, staying outside isn't as enjoyable as it could be because of the onslaught of mosquitoes and wasps, cars passing all the time in the road that's like 10m away from the camp, people shooting guns and fireworks, and planes that fly by every 15 minutes or so. Add to that the lack of forest trails to walk in (the trails they advertise consist of walking into a ditch, going around the camp, or walking in tall, non-maintained grass full of slugs, leeches, spiders, and other creeps; there's no actual trails), and you get kind of a disappointing experience. Quality-wise, I'd give it the two stars it's rated as, but it gains an extra star due to its actually enjoyable Maze, original (outside) designs worth taking pictures and videos of, and friendly staff.

One of the most relax places I have been to. The administration is nice and friendly, they bring you your wood, water and candles daily to your cabinet, which other places don't. The cabine was clean. Great place to bring your kids if you want to get away from everyday stress!!!!
